Our class schedule is updated with 4 to 6 new Designer Studio classes every month. Designer Studio classes at the Scrapbook Design University™ offer wide range of design ideas and techniques to cater to every creative need and level. Our Designer Studio classes are constantly updated with the newest and latest scrapbooking trends, materials and tools to inspire and challenge each student. Designer Studio Kidz™ Creative Classes
Our specially designed kids' classes cater to young ones from 6 yrs up. Through our programs, kids are exposed to different craft techniques and offered numerous crafting tips to guarantee a new level of creativity. We put together tools, lesson and materials that build confidence and a sense of accomplishment with end results that are challenging but achievable.

Q: How do I register for classes at Laine’s Scrapbook Design University™ / Designer Studio Kidz™? Can I register for classes via this website?
For classes at the Scrapbook Design University™ (Wheelock Place #03-13A), please call 65-6333 6831 for immediate registration.
For classes at Designer Studio Kidz™ (Paragon #05-47), please call 65-6235 6866 for immediate registration.

Class sizes have been kept small, advanced registration and full payment is required for all classes. We request for registration and payment to be made directly at the store at least 1 week in advance of class date. Telephone or on-line registrations are considered tentative reservations of your place in the class and shall only be confirmed when full payment is made at the store.
We apologise in advance for not being able to entertain requests for refunds in the event of class cancellations or postponements without your 48 hour prior notice. With 48 hour prior notice, a class replacement or class materials pack may be offered. Full class refunds offered only in the event of class cancellation initiated by Laine’s.
Q: I have registered for a class at the Scrapbook Design University™ / Designer Studio Kidz™ but would like to request for a change in class date, can I do this on-line?
In order for us to offer you our speediest and most effective service, any change pertaining to your class registration (tentative or confirmed) should be made directly to the store via telephone. We apologise for not being able to accept any on-line notice of class cancellation or postponement.
Q: I have registered for a Designer Studio class after viewing the sample at the store. Will I be able to take home a completed project just like it?
While it is not always possible for us to supply everyone with the exact materials as were used in the sample, you can be sure that each pack we supply is lovingly hand-matched to ensure your project turns out beautifully.
Also, depending on your preferred pace and style of scrapping, you may need to complete some parts of the project at home, but be assured that we will do our best to ensure that you leave the class with all the techniques and tips needed to complete the project satisfactorily.
Q: Do the class fees include all materials needed to complete the project?
Unless specified in our list of things to bring for the class, it would be fair to assume that our class materials packs will provide adequate materials to achieve an end result that would be close to the class sample. As we are unable to determine your exact text needs, detailed lettering for titles and journaling are usually not provided in the class materials pack.
Q: My friends and I would like to attend class together. Do you offer private classes?
We agree that our classes are best enjoyed in the company of best friends or family and believe that our classes are a great way to bond through creativity. Laine’s private classes / craft parties / corporate classes are a great way to celebrate special occasions (birthdays, weddings, anniversaries) or to work on special projects (graduation, baby’s 1st year and holiday albums).
Private classes can be all adult / all kids or a mixture of both! All it takes is at least 6 or more people to arrange for your preferred class date and timing*. Minimum charges apply for class size below 6. *For choice date and timing, please make bookings at least one month ahead.
Subject to the age group of class participants and class size, any of our monthly programs can be offered as private lessons. We also welcome special requests for changes to class content to better suit your needs.
